梅雪爭春未肯降，騷人擱筆費評章。 梅須遜雪三分白，雪卻輸梅一段香。 The plum and the snow compete in spring, neither willing to yield; The poet hesitates, expends much ink in vain. The plum must yield the snow in whiteness by three points, Yet the snow loses to the plum in fragrance by a span. 
盧梅坡是南宋詩人，「梅坡」是他的自號，他存世詩作不多，憑借兩首《雪梅》留名千古。 《梅雪爭春未肯降》「降」是服輸的意思，詩人運用擬人手法，將梅花和雪花當作爭春的人來寫：梅花與雪花都認為自己占盡了春色，誰也不肯認輸，生動展現出二者各有千秋、互不相讓的鮮活姿態。 《騷人擱筆費評章》「騷人」指詩人，「擱筆」是放下筆，「評章」這裏指評議梅與雪高下的文字。面對梅雪爭春的場景，連詩人也難以評判誰更勝一籌，只好放下筆苦苦思索，從側面烘托出梅雪各有長處、難分高下。 《梅須遜雪三分白》「遜」是遜色、不如的意思：梅花在潔白的程度上，比雪花要遜色三分，直白點出梅花的短處與雪花的長處。 《雪卻輸梅一段香》「輸」是比不上的意思：雪花雖然擁有極致的潔白，卻沒有梅花那一縷清雅的芳香，點明雪花的短處與梅花的長處。 詩人通過對比梅與雪的特點，巧妙道出深刻哲理：世間萬物各有所長，也各有所短，我們要有自知之明，既要看到自身的優勢，也要正視自己的不足，更要懂得取人之長、補己之短，學會欣賞和包容不同事物的獨特價值。既有詠物的情趣，又飽含說理的理趣，值得細細品味。 
Lu Mei Po was a poet of the Southern Song Dynasty, "Mei Po" was his self-proclaimed name and he has few poems left in the world, but he is famous for his two poems "Snow Plum". "Mei Xue Zheng Chun Wei Ken Jiang", "Jiang" means to yield, the poet uses personification to write about plum blossoms and snowflakes as people competing for spring: both plumoms and snowflakes believe that they have occupied all the spring scenery, and neither is willing to admit defeat, vividly showing the vivid posture of the two, each with own merits and competing with each other. "Sao Ren Ge Bi Fei Ping Zhang", "Sao Ren" refers to the poet, "Ge Bi" to put down the pen, and "Ping Zhang" refers to the text that comments on the superiority of Mei and Xue. Faced with the scene of Meiue competing for spring, even the poet finds it difficult to judge who is better, so he can only put down the pen and think hard, which indirectly highlights the advantages of Me Xue and the difficulty of distinguishing between them. "Mei Xu Xun Xue San Fen Bai", "Xun" means inferior, not good as: in terms of whiteness, plum blossoms are three points inferior to snowflakes, which directly points out the shortcomings of plum blossoms and the advantages of snowakes. "Xue Que Shu Mei Yi Duan Xiang", "Shu" means not comparable: although snowflakes have the ultimate whit, they do not have the elegant fragrance of plum blossoms, which highlights the shortcomings of snowflakes and the advantages of plum blossoms. The poet cleverly reveals philosophy by comparing the characteristics of Mei and Xue: all things in the world have their own strengths and weaknesses, we should have self-knowledge, not only see our own, but also face our own shortcomings, but also know how to learn from others' strengths and complement our own weaknesses, learn to appreciate and包容 the unique value of different things. is worth savoring.
