今日正月初七，便是傳統裡的「人日」。 忽然想起古書所記：女媧造世，前六日依次造了雞狗豬羊牛馬，到第七日，才摶土作人。原來今日，是天下蒼生共同的生辰。 人日不祭神佛，不講排場，專為你我這樣尋常百姓而設。自漢代以來，姑娘們剪綵為人、鏤金作勝，簪於鬢邊、貼在窗前，只求一身康健、全家安順；文人墨客登高望遠，吟詩寄懷，願的是家國安寧、歲月清平；尋常人家煮一鍋七寶羹，芹菜、薺菜、韭菜，湊齊七樣鮮蔬，吃的是一個「和」字，盼的是一整年圓滿安康。 我常覺得，中華文化最動人之處，便是這份樸實的「以人為本」。書畫之道，亦是如此，寫的是人心，畫的是人情。年輕時臨帖，總能從麥華三老師的筆墨裡讀到溫度；如今教導學生，我也常說：筆墨只是載體，真正打動人的，是藏在筆尖之下，對生命最真誠的關切。 人日之美，正在於此。它不問富貴貧賤，不論南北東西，把最真誠的祝福，送給每一個平凡的生命。它不說大道理，只憑一盞羹、一紙勝、一次登高，寄託著人間和合、眾生安好的朴素心願。 春光漸盛，歲入新程。人日歸來，萬物向暖。 願諸位身安心安，日日平安；願人間萬家和睦，歲歲團圓；願東方之珠光華常在，海晏河清。 
Today is the seventh day of the first lunar month, which is the traditional "Human Day." Suddenly, I what was recorded in ancient books: Nuwa created the world. On the first six days, she created chickens, dogs, pigs, sheep, cattle, and horses in order. the seventh day, she kneaded the clay into human beings. Today is the common birthday of all the people in the world. On Human Day, people do not gods and Buddhas, nor do they pay attention to pomp and circumstance. It is specially set up for ordinary people like you and me. Since the Han Dynasty, girls cut colored silk into human shapes, carved gold into victory symbols, and worn them on their hair or pasted them on the windows, only wishing for good health and peace for the family. Literati and poets climb high and look far, express their feelings by reciting poems, wishing for peace at home and abroad and tranquility in the world. Ordinary cook a pot of seven treasures soup, with celery, shepherd's purse, leek, and other seven kinds of fresh vegetables, eating for the character "harmony and hoping for a whole year of peace and health. I often feel that the most touching part of Chinese culture is this simple "people-oriented" spirit. The same true for the art of calligraphy and painting, which writes about people's hearts and paints about human relationships. When I was young, I could always read warmth from. Mak Wah-san's calligraphy when I practiced calligraphy. Now, when I teach students, I often say: Brush and ink are carriers. What really touches people is the sincere concern for life hidden under the tip of the brush. The beauty of Human Day lies in this. It does not ask about or poverty, nor does it distinguish between north, south, east, and west. It sends the sincerest blessings to every ordinary life. It does not talk about great principles, only through a bowl of soup, a piece of victory symbol, and a climb to a high place, it conveys the simple wish for harmony among people and peace for all living. As the spring gradually becomes more abundant and the year enters a new journey, Human Day returns and everything warms up. I wish you all peace of mind body, and safety every day; I wish all families in the world harmony, and reunion year after year; I wish the pearl of the East always shines, and the world is.
