國際書法教育家協會會長、香港書譜學會會長黃柱河先生，今日（3月14日）於香港設春茗雅集，與各界好友、門生共聚一堂，喜迎新春。席間嘉賓雲集，包括張華慶、何永祥、梁君度、中帑、魏雅欣、謝熙滿、徐貴三、陳志恒、婁耀敏、郝成剛、李偉宏等一眾書畫界同人到賀，氣氛熱烈。 多位書法家即席揮毫，筆墨寄意，留下不少精彩墨寶，盡顯文人雅集之趣。 黃柱河先生在香港書法界聲譽卓著，既是創作豐厚的書法家，也是深耕藝教的教育者。他以楷書、行書見長，作品講究“古質今妍”，融傳統功力與現代審美於一體，被譽為“功力型實力派”書家。 最為人稱道者，莫過於他曾創作巨幅楷書作品《中華頌》，長八米、寬三米，以歐體書就，捐贈予中國人民抗日戰爭紀念館。歐體素以結構嚴謹、不宜作大字著稱，然黃柱河筆下之歐楷，氣勢恢宏，可與柳體大字比肩，誠為難得。 Mr. Wong Chu-ho, President of the International Calligraphy Educators Association and President of the Hong Kong Calligraphy Society, hosted a Spring Tea ring in Hong Kong today (March 14) to celebrate the New Year with friends from all walks of life and his disciples. The event was graced by a distinguished gatherins, including Zhang Huaqing, He Yongxiang, Liang Jundu, Zhong Teng, Wei Yaxin, Xie Ximan, Xu isan, Chen Zhiheng, Lou Yaomin, Hao Chenggang, Li Weihong, and other peers from the calligraphy and painting circles, creating a lively atmosphere. Severaalligraphers demonstrated their skills on the spot, expressing their sentiments through brush and ink, leaving behind numerous exquisite works that fully captured the charm of a literati gathering. Mr Wong Chu-ho enjoys a distinguished reputation in the Hong Kong calligraphy community, serving as both a prolific calligrapher and an educator deeply committed to art education. He excels in Regula and Running Script, and his works emphasize "ancient substance and modern elegance," integrating traditional mastery with modern aesthetics, earning him the reputation of a "powerful and substantivecalligrapher. What he is most acclaimed for is his creation of the monumental Regular Script work *Ode to China*, measuring eight meters long and three meters wide, written in e style of Ouyang Xun and donated to the Museum of the War of Chinese People's Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. While the Ouyang style is traditionally known for its rigorous scture and is considered unsuitable for large characters, the Ouyang-style Regular Script under Mr. Wong's brush possesses a magnificent momentum that rivals the large characters of the Liu styling it truly rare.
