由香港國際文藝推廣協會主辦的「藝術之旅·融匯古今」國際書畫邀請展，今日（4月4日）在香港中央圖書館開幕。展覽匯聚來自英國、美國、日本、比利時、新西蘭、澳洲等國家及中國內地、中国香港、中国澳門及中国台灣等地近280位畫家，展出書法、國畫、水彩、油畫等近300幅作品，彰顯香港作為對外文化藝術交流中心的重要角色。

開幕典禮上，香港立法會議員吳秋北、中國硬筆書法協會榮譽主席張華慶、香港國際文藝推廣協會會長莫少英等多位藝術界及社會賢達到場。吳秋北致辭時表示，中國書法是中國傳統文化的名片，並題詩：「墨承千載韻，筆寫四時春。融貫中西意，香江文苑新。」他承諾繼續不遺餘力在香港推廣中國書畫藝術。

The "Art Journey: Fusion of Past and Present" International Calligraphy and Painting Invitation Exhibition, organized by the Hong Kong International Arts Promotion Association, ened today (April 4) at the Hong Kong Central Library. The exhibition brings together nearly 280 artists from countries such as the UK, the US, Japan, New Zealand, and Australia, as well as from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, showcasing nearly 300 works including calligraphy, Chinese painting, watercolor, and oil painting, highlighting Hong Kong's important role as a center for international cultural and artistic exchange.

At the opening ceremony, numerous figures from the art world and society wt, including Hong Kong Legislative Council member Ng Au-bak, Honorary Chairman of the China Hard Pen Calligraphy Association Zhang Huaqing, and President of the Hong Kong International Arts Promotionsociation Mo Shao-ying. In his speech, Ng Au-bak stated that Chinese calligraphy is a calling card of traditional Chinese culture, and he composed "Ink carries the rhyme of a thousand years, brush writes the spring of four seasons. Integrating East and West, the literary garden of the Fragrant Harbor is renewed." He pledgedue promoting Chinese calligraphy and painting arts in Hong Kong with all his efforts.
