A person of high moral character often possesses numerous noble qualities such as kindnes, integrity, tolerance, and honesty. Thick virtue attracts blessings: from the perspective of cause and effect, profound virtue can attract good fortune. Because virtuous people are willing to help otand act benevolently, they also receive help and reciprocation from others in the process of assisting them. Furthermore, good virtue allows one to maintain inner peace and satisfaction, the troubles and distress caused by misconduct; this inner harmony and tranquility is itself a form of blessing. "Abundant blessings" depicts a state of being filled with good foe. Blessings are not limited to material abundance but also include spiritual joy, health, and safety. "Constant companionship" emphasizes the enduring relationship between blessings and the individual.
