香港DM德馬數字甲骨文集團 CEO / 林鏡德 LIN JING DE 註釋： 《持而盈之，不如其已》執持著已經滿溢的東西，不如適時停止。這是在告誡人們要懂得適可而止，不要貪得無厭。天道崇尚「虛空」而非「盈滿」，就像器皿裝得太滿一定會溢出，人如果一味追求物質、權力的極致充盈，反而會因承載不住而招致損失。不管是對財富的囤積，還是對權勢的貪戀，過度的追求都會讓自己陷入患得患失的困境，不如知足常樂，留有余地，反而能保持長久的安穩。 《揣而銳之，不可長保》將鐵器捶擊打磨得過於尖銳，這種鋒利的狀態難以長久保持。對應到人生，就是說人不可鋒芒畢露、恃才傲物。就像過於鋒利的刀刃容易崩口卷刃，一個人如果總是處處張揚尖刻，說話做事不留余地，會容易引來他人的忌憚與打壓，很難長久保持順遂。 《金玉滿堂，莫之能守》就算金銀珠寶堆滿廳堂，也沒有人能長久守住。 財富與權勢本就是流動的事物，過度囤積不僅會引來覬覦，更會因「財聚人散」導致自身孤立。老祖宗說「財聚則人散，財散則人聚」，如果只想著把財富攥在手裏，反而留不住它。 《富貴而驕，自遺其咎》身處富貴境遇卻驕橫自大，是自己給自己招來禍患。富貴從來不是禍根，因富貴而生的驕縱才是。當人被名利沖昏頭腦，變得目中無人、驕奢淫逸時，就會失去謙遜與判斷力，做出錯誤的選擇，最終眾叛親離。就像孟子所說「寶珠玉者，殃必及身」，財富與地位需要品德來承載，驕橫只會透支自身的福報，埋下災禍的種子。 《功遂身退，天之道也》 功業完成後便適時收斂退身，這是符合自然規律的道理。這裏的「身退」不是指隱居避世，而是「不居功、不貪位」。就像月亮圓滿後會漸漸虧缺，果實成熟後會自然落地，凡事都有循環的規律，在功業達到頂峰時主動收斂鋒芒，既可以避免成為眾矢之的，也能為新的發展留出空間。比如範蠡幫助勾踐滅吳後辭官經商，既保全了自身，也讓自己的智慧在新的領域延續；放在現代社會，領導者在功成名就後懂得放權讓位，也是順應這種「天道」，能保持團隊與社會的動態平衡。

Excessive hoarding will not only attract coveting, but will also lead to isolation due to "the dispersal wealth and the scattering of people". As the ancestors said, "When wealth gathers, people disperse; when wealth disperses, people gather." If you only to hold wealth in your hand, you will not be able to keep it. Being rich and noble but arrogant, you are asking for trouble. Being rich and noble is the root of disaster, but the arrogance born from being rich and noble is. When people are blinded by fame and wealth, become arrogant and extravagant, they will losey and judgment, make wrong choices, and eventually be isolated. Just as Mencius said, "Those who cherish precious pearls and jade will surely suffer." Wealth status need to be carried by virtue, and arrogance will only deplete one's own good fortune and sow the seeds of disaster. When the work is done, naturally. This is the way of nature. The "retreat" here does not mean hiding from the world, but "not taking credit, not seeking position". Just like moon is full and gradually wanes, the fruit is ripe and naturally falls, everything has a cycle of its own.
