正月十二，與友人同登龍山，往國恩寺禮佛，聼如禪方丈講禪。 此前友人遊此，曾留一詩： 一方淨土此中藏，無是無非無短長。 如也空空無一法，十方唯善地天長。 仁者樂山，智者樂水。新春之際，能入此清淨聖域，焚香禮佛，放下塵俗計較，心境澄明，實屬難得。友人詩中“無是無非無短長”一句，最是動人。世人多困於是非得失，能于山中暫得解脱，便是半日神仙。此七字，寫盡寺中清淨，亦見其胸中丘壑，非心有禪意者不能為此語。 細品其詩，暗合六祖“本來無一物”之禪機。六祖弘法於此，千年之後，猶有後人在山水間尋得清淨本心。詩不求雕琢，而意境空靈，正是心底有光，自然流露。 感其雅意，遂步韻奉和一首： 聖諦休從域外藏，心台萬仞與天長。 春風不負嶺南信，一路祥雲護寶堂。 我與友人相知有年，知其筆耕不輟，以詩為修，以心為境。今日讀其詩，更見其禪心自在。心中有禪，筆下自見真如。 丙午馬年，春風已度嶺南。願君此後，筆底生禪，心中有佛，藝事精進，福德雙修，如龍山古松，歷久彌堅，蒼翠常青。 詩畫之道，本是心跡。心淨則筆墨淨，心安則境界安。友人心存清淨，何愁藝事不進？ 正月十二，隔山讀詩，遙想同遊。紙上雖無山水，心中自有一片龍山煙雨。 On the 12th day of the first lunar month, I ascended Long Mountain with a friend, and we went tooen Temple to worship Buddha and listened to the Zen master Ruxuan's lecture on Zen. Before this, my friend had visited here and left a poem: pure land is hidden within, without right or wrong, without short or long. If you empty your mind of all things, the ten directions are only good and the land islasting. The benevolent enjoy the mountains, the wise enjoy the water. At the beginning of the new year, to enter this holy and pure domain, to burn incense worship Buddha, to let go of worldly calculations, with a clear mind, is indeed a rare opportunity. The line "without right or wrong, without short or long" in friend's poem is the most moving. The world is full of people who are troubled by right and wrong, gains and losses. To be temporarily free from them in the mountains like being an immortal for half a day. These seven words describe the tranquility of the temple and also reveal the grandeur in his heart. Only those with Zen can say such. Tasting his poem carefully, it resonates with the Zen of the Sixth Patriarch, "There is nothing originally." The Sixth Patriarch preached here and a thousand years later, there are still later generations who find their original pure heart in the mountains and rivers. The poem does not seek to be polished, but its artistic conception ethereal, which is the natural expression of a light in the heart. Feeling his elegance, I followed the rhyme and composed a poem in response: The does not need to be hidden outside the domain, the heart platform is as high as ten thousand zhang and as long as the sky. The spring breeze does not fail to the trust of the southern mountains, and all the way, auspicious clouds protect the treasure hall. My friend and I have known each other for many years. I know he has never stopped writing and cultivating himself with poetry and taking the heart as the realm. Today, reading his poem, I see even more his Zen heart at ease. With in the heart, the true nature will naturally be seen in the writing. In the Year of the Horse, Spring has already passed the southern mountains. May you, from now, have Zen in your writing, have Buddha in your heart, excel in your art, practice both virtue and wisdom, and be as firm and evergreen as the ancient pine trees Long Mountain. The way of poetry and painting is originally the trace of the heart. If the heart is pure, the brush and ink will be pure; if the heart is peace, the realm will be at peace. With a heart full of tranquility, how can my friend's art not progress? On the 12th day of first lunar month, reading a poem across the mountains, I think of the same journey. Although there is no landscape on paper, there is a piece of Long Mountain's mist rain in my heart.
